2% Salicylic Acid (BHA) with encapsulation technology
Salicylic acid purifies and exfoliates from within the pore, promoting a visibly clearer complexion. Encapsulation technology gently delivers salicylic acid into the skin for comfortable daily use, even on sensitive skin.

2% Tranexamic Acid

Unlock by turning the top half of the pump counterclockwise until it clicks to activate.
After cleansing in the morning and/or evening, hold a cotton pad (reusable is best) firmly over Press & Clear and press down 3-4 times.
Sweep the disc over the face, avoiding the delicate skin around the eyes.
Turn the pump clockwise until it clicks into place. Store out of direct sunlight.
We advise new users to apply once daily and note skin reaction, then increase use to twice daily.
Patch testing before use is recommended.

Maximum Strength BHA (2%) salicylic acid is oil-soluble and can penetrate deep into pores to dissolve blockages that can lead to breakouts and congestion. Press & Clear promotes a visibly clearer, brighter complexion. Salicylic acid is optimally delivered with our gentle-release crystal encapsulation system. This allows for a slow release of salicylic acid to prevent discomfort on sensitive, fragile skin while maintaining its potency.
Press & Clear has a very skin-friendly pH of approximately 5.5. While other exfoliating acids, such as AHAs, require low pH levels to work on the skin, salicylic acid is unique because it's an effective exfoliant at both low and more neutral pH levels. Our balanced pH contributes to the sting-free, gentle experience of using Press & Clear.
The brightening ingredient, tranexamic acid, works to visibly even out skin tone, minimizing the appearance of stubborn spots and post-breakout imperfections.
Sake extract and aloe vera soothe and hydrate the skin, compensating for any dryness that may have occurred during and after a breakout. The skin barrier is nourished and supported, making it resistant to future breakouts.

Avoid contact with eyes. If product gets into eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. If irritation persists, consult a doctor. Use only as directed and on undamaged skin. Contains BHA, which may increase skin sensitivity to the sun. The Press & Clear formula has an optimized pH of ~5.5 to align with the skin's natural pH and provide a comfortable toning experience. Many other BHA toners use low pHs, following the traditional theory that an exfoliating acid requires a low pH to "activate" in the skin. This is true for many acids, such as glycolic acid and gluconolactone. However, salicylic acid is unique because it has been proven to be just as effective an exfoliant at a neutral pH as it is at a low pH. Therefore, in Press & Clear, we use a more neutral pH of 5.5 to match the skin's natural pH, preserving the potency of salicylic acid and making it more suitable for sensitive, blemish-prone skin types.
